Three PARCC Researchers Appointed to the New College of the French National Academy of Medicine

By Jean-Sébastien Silvestre

The Paris Cardiovascular Research Center (PARCC) is proud to announce the appointment of Professors Eloi Marijon, Hafid Ait-Oufella, and Alexandre Loupy to the newly established College of the French National Academy of Medicine.

A Bridge Between Tradition and Innovation

This prestigious College was designed to serve as a strategic link between the historic Academy and the leading practitioners and researchers shaping the future of medicine. The selection of our three “PARCC Boys” underscores the transformative impact of their work across their respective medical disciplines.

Why This Appointment Matters

  • Scientific Leadership: These appointments recognize clinical and research contributions that have reached decisive turning points in their fields.

  • Intergenerational Dialogue: Our researchers will now act as a vital conduit between the long-standing experience of the Academy’s permanent members and the agility of modern university-hospital research.

  • Institutional Excellence: This distinction further solidifies PARCC’s reputation as a driving force in French medical innovation.

The Director and the entire PARCC community extend their warmest congratulations to Professors Marijon, Ait-Oufella, and Loupy for this honor, as well as to all the laureates of this inaugural class.
