SCAD Patient Day 2026 at PARCC: Research, Dialogue and Shared Experience

On Saturday, 3 October 2026, the PARCC will host its second SCAD Patient Day, supported by the ID-SCAD project and jointly organized with our partner, the SCADinfo Association.

This special event will bring together patients from across France who have experienced spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD). The day is designed as a unique opportunity for patients to meet, share their experiences and connect with others who have faced similar—and deeply personal—health challenges.

Bringing patients and researchers together

Patient Day is also an important opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between patients and cardiovascular researchers.

Members of our Inserm–Université Paris Cité research team will present their current research and discuss the scientific strategies being developed to better understand SCAD. At the same time, researchers will have the opportunity to learn directly from the people most affected by the disease—the patients themselves.

For our young scientists, the event provides a valuable opportunity to communicate their research beyond the laboratory, engage with patients, answer their questions and better understand their expectations.

These exchanges are at the heart of our approach: research benefits from listening to patients, just as patients benefit from direct interaction with the scientists working to understand their disease.
