New International Grant for Cardiovascular Research
Congratulations to Clément Cochain from PARCC (Inserm / Université Paris Cité) for being selected as a Laureate of a prestigious international cardiovascular research funding program!
This program, supported by the Lefoulon-Delalande Foundation, the British Heart Foundation (BHF), the German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK), and the Dutch Heart Foundation (DHF), aims to foster high-impact international collaborations in the field of cardiovascular sciences.
Clément Cochain is joining forces with Jana Grune (Charité, Berlin, Germany) and Naveed Akbar (Oxford, United Kingdom) for the AID-MI project.
The Objective?
To understand the impact of aging on recovery following a myocardial infarction. The project will specifically explore the role of extracellular vesicles in the communication between the heart and other key organs (such as the lungs and kidneys) to improve clinical care for elderly patients.
Together, let’s advance cardiovascular research! 🔬🫀
