Director's Introduction

Welcome to the Paris Cardiovascular Research Center (PARCC), a vibrant hub of scientific excellence dedicated to advancing our understanding of cardiovascular and renal diseases. Established in 2009, PARCC is a joint initiative of INSERM and Université Paris-Cité, strategically located within the renowned Georges-Pompidou European Hospital.

Our mission is to foster a collaborative and innovative research environment that bridges fundamental science with clinical translation. We bring together a distinguished team of basic and clinical scientists, leveraging diverse expertise in molecular biology, physiology, genetics, epidemiology, and clinical medicine. This unique synergy enables us to pursue cutting-edge research programs that address critical challenges in cardiovascular health, from basic mechanisms to novel therapies.

PARCC is committed to training the next generation of cardiovascular researchers and providing a supportive environment for scientific discovery. Our state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated phenotyping core facility, provide researchers with the tools and resources necessary to conduct world-class research.

I am honored to lead this exceptional team and excited about the future of cardiovascular research at PARCC. We are dedicated to making significant contributions to improving human health and well-being
