Assessment of myocardial stiffness by shear wave elastography: development from specific acquisitions and demonstration of interest with increased stiffness in hypertrophic heart disease. e-Myosound, a start-up created from this work, develops a non-invasive sensor for measuring myocardial stiffness.

This research work demonstrated the potential of a CXCR4-targeting probe for the detection of macrophages in atherosclerotic plaques as an alternate to FDG. In addition to the binding of the radiotracer in plaques, a specific uptake of 68Ga-Pentixafor was detected in adrenal glands of rabbits. Following this finding, the clinical study PENTALON (Funding APHP / PentixaPharm) will start in 2024 and evaluate the diagnostic performance of 68Ga-Pentixafor for the detection of unilateral primary hyperaldosteronism in association with Prof. L. Amar, member of Team 13.
