The Lefoulon-Delalande Foundation (Institut de France) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026 international funding program.

Established in 2018, this unique European consortium is expanding for this new edition to foster cross-border research with high clinical impact.

A Strengthened Consortium For 2026, the collaboration brings together Europe’s leading institutions in the field:

🇫🇷 Lefoulon-Delalande Foundation (FLD) – France

🇬🇧 British Heart Foundation (BHF) – United Kingdom

🇩🇪 German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK) – Germany

🇳🇱 Dutch Heart Foundation (DHF) – Netherlands

🇪🇸 CNIC & CIBER-CV – Spain (New partners)

Program Objectives: The ambition of this call is to fund cardiovascular research projects whose scale and complexity require international cooperation. The program specifically aims to: Support mid-career researchers in their progression toward international leadership. Fund innovative and multidisciplinary approaches for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cardiac pathologies.

💡 Funding Terms Consortium: Each project must be led by at least three investigators from three different partner countries. Duration: Projects with a maximum duration of 4 years. Funding Amounts: Each organization funds the researchers in its own country (up to €500,000 for FLD, CNIC/CIBER-CV, and DHF; £500,000 for BHF; €400,000 for DZHK).
