By Jean-Sébastien Silvestre

Welcome to our new Inserm Researchers (CRCN 2026)!

We are proud to announce and celebrate the recruitment of two outstanding talents as tenured Tenure-Track / Research Associates (CRCN – Chargé de Recherche Classe Normale) at Inserm for 2026. Their arrival will significantly strengthen PARCC’s core research axes in cardiovascular sciences.

Meet our new colleagues and their upcoming challenges:

🧬 Dr. Takiy Berrandou is joining the Arterial Health and Disease in Women team, led by Dr. Nabila Bouatia-Naji. Working alongside Dr. Adrien Georges, Takiy will focus his expertise on the genetics of cardiovascular diseases, with a major emphasis on arterial health and sex-specific specificities in women.

🧫 Dr. Vanessa Pellegrinelli is joining the Immuno-metabolic mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases team, co-directed by Prof. Hafid Ait-Oufella and Prof. Ziad Mallat. Working alongside Dr. Soraya Taleb, Vanessa will explore the complex interplay and mechanisms driving immuno-metabolism in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular diseases.

Their recruitment marks a key milestone in advancing our scientific programs and unlocking new insights into cardiovascular health.

Please join us in wishing Vanessa and Takiy a warm welcome and tremendous scientific success within the PARCC community! 🚀👏
