“Danièle Hermann – Women’s Hearts” Fellowship 2025

By Jean-Sébastien Silvestre

The Paris Cardiovascular Research Center  is proud that the 2025 “Women’s Hearts” Fellowship, awarded by the Fondation Recherche Cardio-Vasculaire and valued at €30,000, has been granted to Adrien Georges, a researcher in the Inserm team led by Nabila Bouatia-Naji.

His project explores the interactions between genetics, hormones, and women’s cardiovascular diseases, with a particular focus on fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) and spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD).

This research aims to identify female-specific molecular mechanisms of predisposition and open new avenues toward a more personalized cardiovascular medicine.

Beyond its scientific excellence, this project reflects the shared mission of the Fondation Recherche Cardio-Vasculaire and PARCC: to support young researchers and advance the understanding of women’s cardiovascular health.

Congratulations to Adrien Georges for his inspiring work and his commitment to advancing women’s heart health.
